GREETINGS.
Welcome to the first seasonal Memento Vivere/TOL Newsletter! It’s Evelyn Cross writing to you right now (Lee and I will probably alternate between writing these), with some wonderful tidbits of news for you!
So, first of all, let’s establish some...
Ground Rules!
These Newsletters are strictly out of character. Yes, there are in-universe Evelyn Crosses and Lee Claudes presenting Memento Vivere to you. We are not she! Okay? Yay. (That’s not to say everything on this site is out of character.)
Second off, why are we doing this??? Well, one, I’ve honestly always found seasonal newsletters as the ideal way of keeping in contact with an audience. I’ve gotten kind of an unhealthy mental relationship with my viewerbase and, to me, these newsletters are a great way to keep you guys in the know with how production is chugging along without obsessively wanting to entertain every last one of you.
With that out of the way, let’s get started. Let’s talk about…
ENTAMAPHOBIA!!!!
So, as you can probably tell… the remake itch got me again. You’ll have to forgive me. I’m sorry! A lot of the late 2024 re-cuts were created during a horrible time in me and Lee’s mental health, and because of that, they turned out… significantly worse than the original cuts. With that being said, me and Lee weren’t necessarily happy with those cuts either. So… we made SNOWBIRDS and now we made ENTAMAPHOBIA. Yay! As for WAITING IN THE SKY, the series LIFE OF STARMAN was supposed to be me and InkSt4ins’ expanded cut of that film, however… things have taken a slight turn, with THE LIFE OF STARMAN now being a collection of shorts expanding on that original Starman film! Yay!
As for Entamaphobia itself... I’m quite happy with how it has turned out. It has truly acted as the epitome of a LOT of difficult emotions I have been unpacking over the last year and I think acts as the perfect introduction to Icarus’ character. With Icarus now formally reintroduced, I guess it is time to address the elephant in the room.
OKAY SO GUYS I INSTALLED RPG MAKER AND I'M GETTING MY GODDAMN’S MONEY’S WORTH!
A Mother’s Love is a planned RPG that we would like to officially announce is beginning production. A Mother’s Love will explore Icarus’ time on Earth Seven and the fun and whimsical challenges he endures while away from home. There will be nothing scary or eventful at all and this entry of Memento Vivere will not be notable. It will act as the conclusion to Act One.
While I’m at it… should I just announce the rest of Act One!?
Yeah, I… suppose I shall. Considering cosmic forces have transformed that question into a header. Now, keep in mind, there will be a few surprises thrown into the mix, but I can give you a rough roadmap!!
It’s so fun. 2026 is going to be so fun. You guys have no idea how excited I am.
AND NOW, SOME FEATURED ART WORK BY LEE CLAUDE!!! (Press the buttons OR use your arrow keys !!)
SHUT UP I HAVE TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT SINNING EYES.
There is a new Opalite Library project that I have to talk to you about. It is called Sinning Eyes.
Hooooooly fuck. Hoooooooooly fuck. So, like Memento Vivere to the Liminality Mythos, Sinning Eyes has been added to the library somewhat retroactively. But do not let that fool you. It damn near perfectly fits into the aesthetic and themes Memento Vivere is going for.

But what is about!? Sinning Eyes follows a group of scientists in the year 1979 investigating a murderer that is targeting corrupt tycoons, but Sinning Eyes’ story runs much deeper than that. Sinning Eyes, in just a few entries so far, has been both an uncomfortable exploration of some of humanity’s most heinous capabilities as well as a beautiful and complex story about love and grief. If you like Memento Vivere, I guarantee that you will like Sinning Eyes, and if you don’t, InkSt4ins will personally pay you 1,000 dollars. Cash.
[This project may also have a few familiar voices haha]
LIGHTNING ROUND!!!
Okay. Bye
-Evelyn Cross
